Coloring Tomorrow

My mind trips

Trickling with fears

The fickle traps of what-if nears

Homes, jobs, friends, and love interests

Worried I will find myself at a loss

And penniless

Then these uncertainties go from foreboding gray skies

So much unknown

To a colored prism of possibilities

Places I may travel

May live

May work

May love

May be

Did you know I hate working in restaurants?

Did you know I can’t handle living with parents?

Did you know I freefall with my mind sometimes?

Maybe tomorrow is a kaleidoscope

And I could wake up

With branches that could grow

North, west, east and south

And be

Be okay

Taking of the sunglass shades of stuck and uncertain

To make all the gray okay.
