Guest Post from Scot Ritchie

Often surfaces
In this long arc
Cause me to coast and climb.

You can roll like the sun
And slowly dipping
Into shallow eternity,

Caught by the deep and slight
Glimpse of distance.

It catches the soul
In resistance swift
And long reaching–

And to look,
To show and shatter
Light, blood

Of the sun surging
In slow resiliance

Unto darkness, death,
Unto dreams,
Unto coming resurrection.
