Puttin on my Nashville Boots

Here I found all I need was some new heels to click against the ground so dangling sounds to softly pound by my ear drum hearing beats taking me across crowded 1 am downtown streets. Things were easier in my flower print dress. Summertime tans tell me this day was a success. Staring down the waterway I see sun reflects the stress away. I’ll brush my hair into my face I’ll save my smile until there’s a longer embrace. Puttin on my boots again. Putting on my without you face again. Puttin on my un-insulted dreams once again. Puttin on my Monday face, freshly painted nails and ready to make this a whole new place.
